The princess cut diamond was first coined and crafted in 1961 by lapidary expert Arpad Nagy. Nagy was the first to create this square-shaped, almost inverted-pyramid-style design with 57 visible facets.
Men and women alike fell in love with its clean symmetrical design and it wasn’t long before the princess cut became a staple option for all jewellery pieces—engagement rings, necklaces, earrings, and bracelets.
